I am very pleased to announce that my remodeled website is now live. I built the site using WordPress and it is now a blend of a blog and website. I’m starting off with a theme that allows me to display links to slideshows of recent projects on the home page, while blog posts are categorized and accessible through the top navigation menu. WordPress has numerous themes that will allow for different ways of presenting the content of the site and I’ll be having some fun with those as time goes along. The end result will be a more fluid and content-rich site that should be a lot more useful and entertaining..
I’m starting off with 3 projects: Old Junk: images captured at a quirky little ghost town called Nelson, Nevada; the 2016 Colorado Pole Dancing Championship which was held in Boulder a few weeks ago; and Utah Remastered: images from a trip to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks in 2011. I have lots of previously unpublished content to release in coming weeks, too. It is nice to now have a more integrated platform to extend the reach of the site.
As with any new release there are some minor bugs. If you open a slideshow on an iPhone you have to manually swipe to see the slideshow. I’ve opened a ticket with the vendor to see if that can be resolved. If you notice any others please message me and let me know. Thanks and enjoy!
