About 37 miles southeast of of Las Vegas you’ll find the town of Nelson, Nevada. It’s an old silver and gold mining town that was purchased by a fellow who then stocked the grounds with old stuff he found on eBay. The site is now used as a location and backdrop for photo and film shoots. I visited Nelson on a workshop during the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) annual meeting in Las Vegas back in 2013.
It was a great workshop and I learned a lot, and afterwards I spend some time photographing as much of the old stuff as I could. These images are from that shoot. If you’d like to purchase any of these images please visit the gallery at http://galleries.deanallman.com/p404639519
